Yea, I think it’s safe to assume that Michelle is still linked to this. Maybe the scheduling issues are also pertaining to her involvement with that Sylvia’s Second Act project?? We don't know much about Sylvia's Second Act but sounds like a leading role for her. Hopefully we'll hear something soon about this or another project. Would be nice to see Michelle have 2 leading roles lined up back to back. Don't think I could cope with no projects until late 2023. Michelle could easily film something in the Spring/Summer then shoot this end of 2023.

Marc Platt will also be occupied most of this year with being one of the main producers on Wicked. Think the film has just gone in to production in London, which would also be part of the scheduling issues.

The indies are facing a tough sell these days. Most of them lose money with a few recent exceptions like Parasite or EEAAO.
And if you notice, the names of the film companies or finance groups that cobbled the funding together are shown one after the other when the film starts. If one or more of those cards fall, the whole house falls down.

I mean, if they can make To Leslie and make that fly, anything’s possible.

Yes, one would think so, but the list of announced indie films with name actors attached that never make it to the production phase is a long one. I'm hoping that is not the case with Wild Four O'Clocks.
The other thing is - how willing is Michelle to work for basically scale wages, long hours, and bargain rate amenities. I also wonder if her Kyra on set experience changed the way she feels about working under such conditions.
I'm just speculating, but I fear the longer this film is delayed, the less likely it is to happen.

With Sony's Stage 6 films already attached for majority of International release and Peter's comments on Twitter about the film shooting in late 23 due to scheduling issues, I am more confident that this film will happen and won't be another Turn of Mind.

I do think this was possibly Peter posting this as he is a Michelle fan and looking forward to working with her soon.
I really hope we hear more about this soon and who else will be joining the cast. I wonder who will be playing her grandson's and if the father who is sent to prison will be her son or her son in law? Can imagine a few prison scenes with Michelle and whoever is playing the father.

Sent Peter a message a few days ago asking if this was still happening and now looks like he's deleted his Twitter.

So in reading how certain indie productions are able to still film during the strike, I find myself holding out hope that this can indeed go before the cameras this autumn. Might be wishful thinking at this point, but who knows?

Peter said end of 2023 so would need to hear something soon but the strike might have impacted that now. Who knows if this is even happening anymore. Wish the studios would just stop being so greedy and pay the writers and actors and let everyone get back to work.

Stage 6 Films no longer listed in the Company Credits on IMDb. Could just be a temporary blip and come back up or maybe they are no longer involved. Doubt this film is even happening anymore anyway.

Stage 6 Films were also following Michelle on Instagram but now no longer are. Guessing they are not involved anymore. This film is probably dead now anyway. Another of her announced projects which came to nothing.

Another promising film bites the dust. So disappointing. Should be used to it by now, but it still sucks.

She never mentioned this project herself, which to me was always a sign that it was never happening (she never mentioned Turn of Mind either which also never happened). At least not with her in the role. She confirmed French Exit and The First Lady very quickly. So that's probably a way to tell in the future. If confirmation doesn't come from her in an interview or on Instagram then don't get your hopes up.

And this project had a deal in place for international distribution, and that's a big deal, so I think it was closer to happening than not. I don't recall that project with Tim Robbins getting past the cast announcement.
