Probably not. Some things maybe will start filming this fall, but that’s a huge maybe. Even so, she’d be busy promoting French Exit at festivals before it’s official release. At least I hope there would be festivals being held that she’d be able to attend! But who knows anything anymore lol

If TIFF does end up going online then they could drop it there. Could still receive good word of mouth. Hopefully by September this will have calmed down.

Hopefully when this has calmed down Michelle will be ready to jump back in to work after being stuck indoors so much.

I've read that apparently Nicole Kidman might have to drop out of "The Northman" due to a scheduling conflict (with two of her 3642 projects) If that is true then I really hope Michelle gets the part, she's the right age to play the mother of Alexander Skarsgard's character in 10th century Iceland Will Nicole still be able to film this? A lot of people's schedules will obviously have been thrown in to chaos cos of the virus. Nicole still has Nine Perfect Strangers to film. Not expecting Michelle to be part of this but would love to see her work with Robert Eggers and would be the right age for the role of the mother.

Is this the same role that I posted about and that is described as "eccentric"? Bummer if true.

Universal has announced the "Scarface" reboot; the director is the acclaimed Luca Guadagnino for academy-award nominated drama "call me by your name"; Joel and Ethan Coen wrote the script....looks like a high profile remake....who knows if there will be a role for michelle?

I do love the director’s work. I’m anxious to see what he does with this

Yea, a one-off, limited series would be good. I wouldn’t want to see her get stuck in one project and stay with it for season after season and have her think that’s enough acting for her while she does Henry rose on the side.

Pretty impressive that David has shows on HBO, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon, ABC, AT&T and now Netflix. A shame his Lincoln Lawyer wasn't picked up but hopefully it'll go to another network. Him and Bruna have obviously built up a good working partnership together.

The author of Anatomy of a Scandal started following Michelle, Made Up Stories and DEK productions on Instagram yesterday. I don't think Michelle will be involved in this as it is set in the UK and seems to be about a British politician and his wife.

Apparently Imelda Staunton is Stephen Daldry's choice for Madame Morrible in "Wicked". I should have known it would be a British thespian in her sixties.

I just hope during that during self isolation Michelle has been reading plenty of scripts.

Also, wouldn't they have to buy her out of her Marvel contract?? or maybe she only signed on for one Ant-Man film? This might be why her name has never been mentioned with Ant-Man 3, not even in Production Weekly, they list everyone but her....

Who knows? Lots of variables, I’m sure. Besides the ones you’ve just described, there could also be filming times for both movies and the size of the roles in each one. They’re both set for 2022, supposedly.

It seems their source was correct on 3 previous articles. I'm all up for seeing Michelle play Catwoman again but if it's true then I hope it's worth her time and she has more screen time than AMATW.

Anyway she needs to do "The Flash" or "Ant-Man 3" in order to secure financing for much smaller movies like "Where is Kyra" or "French Exit", that's how it works for better or worse

You’re right, that is how it works and if we can have the French Exits, I don’t mind the other stuff. I like seeing her go back and forth between the two types of films, even if screen time and overall quality isn’t up to my standards Ha ha
I’d really love to see her in more mid level films, but then I’d love to see more of those being made in general

On the Ant-Man 3 front, rumour has it that the movies big focus will be on Scott Lang and his relationship with his now older daughter. The storyline will involve her journey into the superhero ''stature'' and how she will begin to lead the ''New Avengers'' in future films. Between that and the developing romance between Scott and Hope, it doesn't sound like Michelle will have much to do (Plus, Douglas is happy to do more TV stuff as the character on D+, something I can't see Michelle doing). As for a Marvel Contract, I can't imagine Michelle signed anything extreme or too lengthy. Keaton is apparently still signed for more appearances as 'The Vulture' in future Sony/Marvel/Spider-Man films...

I think I have more confidence in the next Marvel film than most people on here. Having her at the end of Infinity War when they really didn't have to suggests they are going to use her and that she's under some sort of contract.
Regarding Catwoman, I can't imagine that at least a conversation about bringing her back won't have happened and it really would be a missed opportunity. However, the focus will be on what is best for this era, this universe and this movie. So will the story allow it?
Also, all female Pirates of the Caribbean with Margot Robbie... role for Michelle? I thought straight away that if there's an older character she must be first choice. I havent seen any since the first movie but Michelle as a pirate would be interesting.

I dunno, they cut out so much of her from the last Ant-Man and decided not to have her in the big battle scene in Endgame. But it would be weird to bring her back in the last AM and then either have to recast the role or kill her off or something lol. Pfeiffer would make a pretty cool pirate, maybe she could play Margot's badass pirate mom, haha.

After thinking about it, I bet Marvel would probably be pretty accommodating to any stars that wanted to pursue other projects outside their world, at least if it's not someone like Hemsworth or Johannson who are major leads in the MCU.
