I just noticed that on page 49 it says the still from the film was provided by Paladin, so it looks like Paladin is the distributor for this film. At first I thought it was Paladin Pictures but no this is a totally different company. Here is their IMDB page. I only recognize Frank and Lola: www.imdb.com/company/co0283483/They're relatively new. And are owned by the former president of Lionsgate. So maybe it's not so bad. I still wish they'd give it a fall release though.

Sure, there r better, more well-known distributors ones around, but they're pretty decent as far as the projects they take on n getting them out there. Of all the films of their's that they've released, I've seen 6. 2 of them I couldn't stand (Being Charlie and Chronically Metropolitan), 2 I thought were just ok/so-so (The Greatest n The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond) n the other 2 I thought were really great (Max Rose and Frank & Lola) Actually, I REALLY liked Frank & Lola)...in any case, I'm feeling good n hopeful bout this.

Grateful that Harvey stayed away from Kyra. The news is not surprising but it is upsetting that this apparently went on for twenty plus years and no one felt safe enough to speak out publicly until now. What a train wreck.

Paladin is actually distribution company here in NYC near Battery Park. Have not had a breakout movie hit to date. Remember seeing Frank & LOLA at my arthouse cinema. They had it for a week then gone. Looked up on BoxOfficeMojo.com. They opened in 26 cinemas for only a week which grossed $5,000+. Bad. For this we hope they do better marketing plus strategies. This company is still growing.

Wow, yeah, only $5,000 on 26 screens is really bad. I hope they announce the news soon and get started on marketing. I guess we won't see a trailer until January/February?

If a small distributor feels a film is connecting, they keep pushing it out there...if they can

I saw this on Twitter...kind of spoilery {SPOILER! CLICK ME IF YOU DARE!}Pfeiffer has a nude scene in which she shows her butt in a sex scene with Kiefer Sutherland. I'm legit shocked. I wonder if it was a body double, though? www.recapped.com/where-is-kyra-nudity-review

Didnt this play at the festival in Philly today? no reactions yet letterboxd.com/film/where-is-kyra/reviews/by/added/There are a couple new reviews on Letterboxd from the Philadelphia Film Festival. This first one makes zero sense. Comparing it to Psycho of all films, but he's probably trying to make a joke...but it doesn't make sense at all. And how is the story weird? It's about ageism for gosh sakes... 1 and a half star review : 3 and a half star review: 4 star review:

The lineup for Sundance 2018 was announced today. It's been almost a year since Where is Kyra? had it's premiere in Park City and they still have not publicly announced the distribution deal. Just a disappointing situation all around.

Can't believe this finished filming 2 years ago and it's still not been released. Thought Killer Films would of been pushing to get this released this year.

Neither of the two cinemas in my city even played 'People Like Us', so I really hope this gets a wide push, even in the UK/Ireland.

I was living in London at the time of the release of Ppl Like Us n it only played in the smallest amount of cinemas. The closest one to me was in Leicester Sq n the tickets were expensive!
