Nicely done. Great choice of film clips, your commentary is spot on and I like that you ended with the Grease 2 clip. That was a great way to illustrate how far she has come. Bravo!

I'm sorry, but this does not sound like Pfeiffer at all. It's not just this guy who tweeted about Pfeiffer narrating the US Open telecast montage, there were a few others. I don't think it's her and I don't think they listed her name on TV either, they're just guessing? Am I crazy to say it doesn't really sound like her?

Just seen David has ANOTHER project on the go.
The Institute The Undoing The Lincoln Lawyer Nine Perfect Strangers Mr Mercedes Big Little Lies Goliath The Big Awful? (Never seen this officially announced but meant to be on Disney +)
A lot of shows. Fair enough BLL, Mr Mercedes and The Undoing are all complete and he is no longer involved with Goliath but has 4 shows in the works. Going by his Instagram it looks like Nine Perfect Strangers will be next. Interested to see who comes on board that.

Prince of Egypt's West End staging is scheduled for February. Here's the cast's performance of When You Believe. You think Michelle will get herself to London to see this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER_kBELxn_U

I still say the Pfeiffer/Dworsky version is MILES better than Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston version. Thinking about it, if this film were made today with the same voice cast, there would be huge backlash because of whitewashing.

Yes - there is a lot of love and admiration in the industry but these directors don't hire her. Nice to hear the accolades, frustrating that they translate into job offers. Or so it seems.

It's mostly due to her age, I'm sure. Not enough roles for older women in these directors films. Thankful that Aronofsky wrote a role for a woman her age and cast her after being a fan for so long. Hope others follow suit.

For years it seemed (to me anyway) that her peers weren't really big fans or were indifferent, we never heard her praised or talked about really (unless you count all of those B and C list actors), but these past couple of years, she has famous fans coming out of the wood work.

I love most of those photos, the beach ones especially, but in some they overdid it with the airbrushing and in other photos you can see her natural lines and wrinkles.
Bond posted the full interview on his website and Pfeiffer was pretty candid about her temper, I hope she's okay because she sounded like she's been pretty angry and frustrated lately, Lol.

I think this photoshoot was done by negative film instead of digital, I could be wrong, but at least it gave me that feeling, it looks kinda real and natural in some way. I love this interview, since they are not repeating the same kinds of questions, but I don't feel good when other media kept focussing on the #Metoo part. The last interview I really enjoyed was by Interview magazine in 2007. She must be exhausted after all these promotions, I had never seen her being such busy, not even for Murder on the Orient Express, these amounts of interview per day was like crazy, I'm perfectly ok she skipped London for some break before attending the two TV shows, I can imagine UK fans must be disappointed though. Hope her wrist will be totally recovered soon.

I didn't care for that interview or the person conducting it. She made her sound like an insecure, neurotic mess, with some very leading questions/topics.
It wouldn't surprise me if she takes another little break after filming 'French Exit'.

And it sounds like her publicist was right there, I wonder if she tried to steer the questions in a different direction at all?

One interesting tidbit I got from it, or maybe it was from the Oprah magazine interview, was the suggestion that Michelle isn't vegan anymore. This was the first I've heard about it.

Odd they don't mention that the neighboring property they own has their dream home under construction, especially given who the architect/designer is.

Big Little Lies was nominated again for Best TV Drama by the Golden Globes. I wonder if David (and Pfeiffer) will show up or maybe stay away because of the controversy with the director? It might be brought up again seeing as how the Globes once again didn't nominate any female directors.

I'm pretty sure they'll both be in attendance. They'll probably do their usual and skip the red carpet and go in through the back.
