Thought maybe Pfeiffer would do Actors on Actors again to campaign, but nope. Viola is doing it. SIGH. Double sigh.

Better than nothing. Odd this was not on the EMMY FYC calendar. Maybe it was just her agency doing this for her and not really an official Showtime thing.

Maybe you're right. I looked at this person's full post and saw the other pictures she posted. Michelle, Bier and the show-runner lady were all there, but not Davis or Anderson, so yea, it coulda just been an event set up by her reps.

It amazes me that so many people make a living off predicting who will be nominated for awards. It's like betting on horses and some of these so-called experts don't seem so expert to me. I wonder why their opinions matter to anyone.

THR just did a TV actors roundtable. Would be great to see Michelle take part in the actress one but no doubt will end up being Viola or Gillian.

Even Starz is doing more of a campaign for Gaslit, and they are historically worse than Showtime in all aspects and have less money. I hate it here.
Also, it looks like Pfeiffer is now on vacation? so we can forget her doing anything else FYC related most likely.

I also should say that after The Wizard of Lies actually aired and the reviews came out, I didn't think she had a shot at an Emmy nom for that either lol, but she got nominated everywhere. That was different though, because it was HBO and they're great at campaigning, but I guess we should hold out some hope at least.

She really did!! Her own Betty Ford series. But at least all the praise and the predictions seems strong and steady. Maybe it'll carry her far enough. We shall see
I really liked the two final episodes and what she brought to them.

Looks like 91 submissions for Limited Actress on the Emmy Ballot. With that number, the category will have 6 nominations instead of 7 or 8, which would have helped her cause a bit. I hope voters name check her. I bet David has been campaigning for her behind the scenes too since he has a lot of TV connections. www.emmys.com/ballots/2022

Rose colored glasses, I know, but hasn't she attained national treasure status at this point? Career awards are given all the time (Driving Miss Tandy, anyone?) so ratings, show reviews, Viola, Gillian aside, they can damn well vote her an Emmy.

Nice piece. Makes me sad all over again. Someone who is on Awardsworthy forums should post that in the 2022 Emmy Predictions thread

Michelle, Viola and Gillian are actually all in London for the premiere. Her dress is kind of an awkward fit, she looks a bit uncomfortable but she looks good otherwise.

This dress doesn't actually bother me that much. I really wouldn't mind though if Michelle found another stylist as I'm just not a fan of a lot of the things Samantha comes up with for her lately. I know it'll be a collaboration between the two but so many of her red carpet outfits lately are just quite underwhelming.
I am actually just surprised Michelle came all the way to London just for this.

I actually don’t mind the dress either. It has an old school classic movie star feel to it. That being said, I feel that dress wouldn’t work for her in any other color EXCEPT black
Yea, that is quite surprising!! Maybe some TV appearances?? This Morning? Loose Women?? Norton??
