Hi guys! I hope all of you are ok. I just want to share something that I've worked on in the last few months. I wrote a book called: "The Michelle Pfeiffer Project: 11 Fabulous Films That Define Stardom". For each chapter, I focus on a single film. It includes trivia, behind the scenes stories, anecdotes from her co-stars, the Oscars and other award shows, and the significance of the film to Pfeiffer's filmography. The 11 films that I ended up choosing are: 1. Scarface 2. Married to the Mob 3. Dangerous Liaisons 4. The Fabulous Baker Boys 5. Frankie and Johnny 6. Batman Returns 7. Love Field 8. The Age of Innocence 9. What Lies Beneath 10. White Oleander 11. French Exit BONUS CHAPTER: Grease2/One Fine Day/Where is Kyra? It's currently available on Amazon Kindle. The paperback version will be available in the next few days. You can find it here if you're interested: linkI hope all of you could check it out. Thanks!

Wow, how exciting! Well done! Thanks! Researching for the book was kinda exciting for me. I found out things about Michelle that I didn't know before. Like for example, I did not realize that in 1991, she was actually one of the predicted Best Actress nominees at the Oscars for "Frankie and Johnny". Las Vegas odds had Foster, Dern, Pfeiffer, Sarandon, and Davis as the predicted nominees., with Bening and Midler as the spoilers. For some reason, I thought she was a longshot for Best Actress that year. Same thing with "The Age of Innocence", although I knew that she was really snubbed this time around. Las Vegas odds had her in 3rd place for the Oscar nominations (behind Hunter and Winger). Apparently, it was Stockard Channing who took her "spot". The Academy really did her wrong so many times!

Wow, I figured Midler had taken her place in 91, but I didn’t know it was Channing who had taken her slot in 93. I just figured it was always Winger!!

What's your Source Data regarding 'Grease 2'.
Was your info mostly from the internet or did you research further?
For example, during the filming of 'Grease 2', was she in any deleted scenes aside from the alternative ending? I am curious which story boards might have never been used for the film and what the story board scenes were about?
How old were you when you first discovered La Pfeiffer:)
Also, Congrats with your book!

It's in the bonus chapter, lumped together with two other films. In addition to my own commentary, all of the info in the book came from various sources in the Internet such as through newspaper articles, previous interviews, Pfeiffer's IG posts, and other movie-related books. For Grease 2, there's a great oral history article of the film from Entertainment Weekly. In terms of how old I was when I first discovered Pfeiffer, I was probably around 15 and "One Fine Day's" the first one that I saw. I have a VHS tape of that movie and I used to watch it all the time, especially around Christmas.
