So a whole 2 years after filming started?! I was willing to wait a year and a half, but c'mon now!

Marvel pushed all their release dates starting with Dr Strange 2.

They left Guardians 3 alone. From what I saw it was meant to be released in May after Ant-Man. I guess they figure Ant-Man isn’t as big an opener for May as Guardians is so they gave the former July 🤷♂️

I'll just put this film out of my mind for two years lol we won't be getting a single photo, tease, etc for a very long time anyway. Just hope we get new project news sometime soon after she's done filming.

Same here. Well, I'm going to try anyways. Is this the longest we'll have to wait for a Michelle release? Besides I Could Never Be Your Woman, obviously.
It would be nice if she took on something this upcoming spring/summer before Megalopolis (supposedly) happens in the fall.

I really hope Michelle manages to film something the 1st quarter of 2022. Who knows if Megalopolis will even happen.

I do as well. I can't think of any reason why she shouldn't take on something next year. She's seems to have found a good balance between her business and acting, that it's entirely possible that she'll find something to take on in 2022. Worst case scenario if she doesn't, we have The First Lady in 2022 and Ant-Man 3 in 2023. It's not the most ideal lineup, but at least it isn't a total dry spell

Bill Murray says he has joined the Marvel universe. I wonder if he has any scenes with Michelle. deadline.com/2021/10/bill-murray-marvel-ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania-1234863186/"You know, recently I made a Marvel movie. I probably won’t tell you, but never mind. In any case, some people were quite surprised why I decided on such a project. But for me the thing was quite clear: I got to know the director – and really liked him very much. He was funny, humble, everything you want from a director. And with the cheerleader story Bring It On he made a movie years ago which I think is damn good. So I agreed, although I’m not interested in these huge comic book adaptations as an actor otherwise…Let’s put it this way: the director is a good guy, and now I’ve at least tried out what it’s like to shoot a Marvel movie. But I don’t think I need that experience a second time. And to come back to your previous question: I have mostly had a pretty good knack for avoiding the nasties of this industry. Fortunately, most good artists are also good people. At least that’s how I experience it with my friends."

Most likely will just be a small cameo.

Yea, I can see it being a cameo as well. That's a great quote tho. I like it.

I think Michelle is probably back in London. They must of had some downtime as Paul Rudd has also been in America promoting Ghostbusters and his new show with Will Ferrell. This surely can't have much longer left of shooting though.

Marvel is doing six weeks of reshoots / new footage on Doctor Strange 2. Not sure what is going there but I hope Michelle doesn't get trapped in something like that.

That's not good for Doctor Strange considering it was due out in March.

That's not good for Doctor Strange considering it was due out in March. They bumped it to May 6 but your point remains valid. Six weeks of reshoots? OY It's been a troubled production from the get-go w/ Scott Derickson leaving and Sam Raimi taking over. Ant Man, however, sounds much smoother and more stable. I hope. I try not to think of the other projects Michelle could be doing instead of spending six months (is that about right?) filming Ant Man. When you think about it, she's spent nearly nine months filming in 2021.

Maybe that's the reason for the reshoots? I also really hope that doesn't happen to her.

Hope they don't require Elizabeth Olsen for re-shoots as she is in Texas filming Love and Death.

Felt like this shoot went on forever. Michelle will no doubt be looking for a significant break again after the rehoots and 'First Lady' press in the New Year.

Yeah thank goodness for that. Can't believe we now have to wait until July 2023. Hopefully on to the next soon for Michelle but yeah she'll have press to do for The First Lady early 2022.

Same! Even as an Ant-Man fan, it never felt like this was ever going to end. Now onto the long wait until mid-2023.
My hope is that she signs on to do something in the spring or summer of next year, but of course it'll depend on how much rest she'll want.
Still wondering if Megalopolis will be happening next fall like Coppola said. As usual, not holding my breath tho. Lol

Bill Murray has received a complaint against him on his new film. If he is next to be cancelled then I can see his role in this being axed or re shot.

Bill Murray has received a complaint against him on his new film. If he is next to be cancelled then I can see his role in this being axed or re shot. I saw that. He's had a history of problematic behavior and has clashed with several former co-stars, most notably, Lucy Liu on Charlie's Angels.

Yeah, he's been known to be problematic and a real chore to work with for years. Whatever it is, it must be significant enough for them to halt production. Apparently, his part is small, so should Marvel need to step in, it shouldn't cause that much of a headache.
I'm wondering if they'll use Janet to lead the next generation of Avengers after this movie, but I'm not sure I want Pfeiffer locked in a multi-year contract.

I'm wondering if they'll use Janet to lead the next generation of Avengers after this movie, but I'm not sure I want Pfeiffer locked in a multi-year contract. It'd suck if it limited her choices in the long run. Though a role of that significance would be a good way to make up for the delayed payoff of her Ant-Man role, especially since Endgame did nothing with it.
