Wow, that's great! Where did you see the criticism from the Swedish critic?

I'm especially loving that the film itself is great, which was something I was certainly curious bout...I know Michelle wouldn't let me down with her performance, but history is full of good actors in sub-standard movies..these reviews give me hope that this isn't the case here

Starts with a 68 score on Metacritic www.metacritic.com/tv/the-wizard-of-lies"Entertainment Weekly Darren Franich
score: 75
It's a mess. Michelle Pfeiffer, howeever, is stunning, and has a Queens accent so thick it's funny. [19 May 2017, p.55]"
Not really understanding how they gave his little review a high schore of 75, it sounds like he hated it and that's not exactly praise for Michelle either. Why does she have such bad luck with movies.
Doesn't matter, it's all subjective. Just wait till you've seen the movie and judge for yourself.

Slant Magazine (2 Stars)
"As Madoff's wife, Ruth, Michelle Pfeiffer has a few moving moments, such as her reaction to a rejection at a hair salon, but there's little to distinguish this character from any number of clueless crime-film housewives."
