Nice find! And no wonder celebrities hate doing the red carpet, those photographers are bossy and annoying.

I hope the upcoming reviews for her gets stronger, the supporting actress race is already getting crowded. I think it's more crowded than lead actress. And now add Viola Davis to the mix in supporting as well for her Lifetime movie. Lol. It's nuts.

I think the film will get mixed to favorable reviews overall. The sad truth about Ruth is that the books and the film portray her as the clueless, entitled wife who was apparently unaware until he was exposed. It's a passive role and there's only so much Pfeiffer can do except render that with as much honesty as possible. Based on the few early reviews we have seen so far, it appears that she succeeded, but it's an underwritten role because Ruth - the person - remains a vague outline of a human being to this day. Here's a link to a recent NY Post photo and article about her. She' s practically invisible now. nypost.com/2017/05/14/the-sad-new-life-of-exiled-ruth-madoff/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow&sr_share=twitter

But we'll see what Variety and NY Times, etc. have to say. That whole story is just sad.

We gotta remember that The Wizard of Lies is Bernie's story first and foremost...Ruth is just a part of it, be it an integral part tho. Kind of like Michelle's roles in Wolf and I Am Sam...she was the female lead but it wasn't mainly her story.
If her participation here ends up being along the lines of those films, I'll be fine.

Yeah. I figured she was supporting in this, but I just got my hopes up for all the awards and what not after what that guy said, Lol. Not that it still won't happen, I guess I'm just on pins and needles waiting for rave reviews for her. There is another review from the Oregonian today. Didn't much like the movie. About Pfeiffer, all she said was she has a broad Queens accent and smokes a lot. I hate reviewers like that. If you see a film or show, I think you owe it to readers to expand on all the performances, whether you liked them or not. USE YOUR WORDS!
