I just saw a pic of Daisy w Penelope on Instagram - was dated yesterday, so they may still be filming. Not sure.
No pics of Michelle yet, or least none that I can find, but a few of Daisy, Penelope and one of Dame Judi.
Hope this remake delivers something unexpected.
I just watched the 1975 version last night and I was bored out of my mind. How Bergman won the Oscar for that is mind-boggling. I'm sure this remake will be more suspenseful and interesting, or at least i hope so.

Saw this in an article in The Hollywood Reporter. Thought it was an interesting little tidbit regarding why Angelina Jolie left the project and freed up the role for Michelle.
"But there are signs that Jolie is no longer a negotiate-at-all-costs star to the studios. In August, Fox chairman Stacey Snider pulled the plug on the actress’ involvement with Murder on the Orient Express after months of to-and-fro over her script notes. “Stacey said, ‘Thanks, but we’re moving on,’ ” says a source."
I saw that too. Textbook case of self-importance overtaking talent IMO. Not knocking Jolie - she is a very good actress and a mostly competent director (By The Sea, not withstanding), but she makes the characters she plays come to her, she doesn't go to them IMO.
Josh Gad last day filming today so looks like filming is wrapping up. Michelle must of finished filming at the weekend. A lot of the cast went along to support Josh at the Beauty and the Beast screening last night.
Hello people ! I like so much the Sidney Lumet version !!! Ingrid Bergman was great, great in that unconventional role. This film will be very good, too, because the story it's great. Michelle is so much better actress than Angelina.
Tom Bateman is one of InStyle's 2017 rising stars and gave a brief mention of MOTOE
You’ve come straight to tonight’s party from the set of Murder On The Orient Express. What’s it like?
Stunning! Before Christmas we were filming on a 70ft high mountain range. All the action takes place on and around the train. My character Bouc owns the train and is Poirot’s best friend. I help him in solving the case.
You’re working with some pretty impressive co-stars?
It’s like Hollywood royalty. We’ve got like Derek Jacobi, Judi Dench, Olivia Colman, and then there’s Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley and Penelope Cruz too. So it’s basically everyone! I had to do a scene which was a speech in front of the whole cast and I said ‘this is like being at the at Oscars.’
The studio moved “Murder on the Orient Express,” an all-star adaptation of the Agatha Christie mystery with Kenneth Branagh, Johnny Depp, and Daisy Ridley into the spot left vacant by “Red Sparrow.” It was originally intended to open on November 22.
I hate it when studios shift release dates around to protect quarterly earnings forecasts and appease their shareholders. I understand it's a business but for a film like this, the day before Thanksgiving is the perfect release date with the four day holiday to boost the box-office take. At least with the November 10 date, they have Veterans's Day holiday weekend, which will help and the other Nov. 10 releases are targeted at different demographics. That being said, the move is not doing the film any favors at the box-office IMO.
