I was just reminded that the EWG dinner is tomorrow, so that might explain why she won't be there tonight, I'm sure she is getting ready for that in San Francisco.

Just back from the press screening. Non-Marvel fans don't bother. She's only in one scene and it's a crowd one with everyone from past movies. She doesn't say anything...but she looks amazing, better I think than she did in Ant-Man

Disappointing but kind of what we all expected. WHAT A WASTE.

Nope...but that's the case for a couple of the characters. Actually, she's got the same amount of screen time as Samuel L. Jackson lol

I don't think she should walk away... but she should definitely push for a more significant storyline, as so far, she really hasn't had much of anything to do.
The original Ant-Man and the Wasp will never pull in the crowds (The Rudd/Lily versions struggle as it is). They are legacy characters given some gravitas by ''old/well respected'' actors.
'Ant-Man 3' may not even happen so she may not be needed at all.

What a waste of acting talent. I understand that Marvel is all about the 14 year old fanboys, but that shouldn't prevent them from giving a film legend a decent amount of screen time and at least one major scene.
Babyface, thanks for taking another one for the team.

Oh yeah, as a Marvel fan, barring a few things, I thought Endgame was absolutely incredible and a fitting end to the saga.
But as a Pfan, I'd say that one of those "few things" is my disappointment at the untapped potential with Michelle. I'll spare you all my fanboy specifics, but in my personal interpretation of the story and the production, and the Marvel lore, there was much more room for her to have a meatier role in this movie. I know if Marvel gets its way, her character will be expanded in future Ant-Man movies, but the Russos missed a major opportunity to do just that here. Rather disappointing, but at least she was given full credit at the end. Plus, this means the highest-grossing film she's involved herself with will cross the billion dollar mark, even if she has as much screen time as Stan Lee...
Seriously folks, you could look down to grab a handful of popcorn from your tumbler, and you could miss all her screen time. At this point, they could give her top-billing for Ant-Man 3 and I'll still be disappointed.

I wonder how much her paycheck was for Ant-Man and this.

Straight up crap why did they give her line about time vortex in Antman but not have her character play a big role with that in this movie

Even without my Pfan bias, I seriously think Janet should have had a larger role. Ant-Man and the Wasp, you know, the movie wedged right in the middle of the two Avengers films, built up to her reappearance from an important plot device. Sure, Scott was meant to be the one to go with the Avengers, but there was so much space for more involvement for her. The fact that she only appeared for 5 seconds in a crowd shot with her co-stars, who all had at least 2 scenes, was a major letdown. Pure shortchanging. One of the few gripes I have with Endgame. At this point, it's like her big role in Maleficent and whatever character expansion they'll give her if they make Ant-Man 3 are crummy consolation prizes, and it sucks... Marvel made a great movie overall for its fans, but what a missed opportunity this was.

Just back from seeing this. It was good but not amazing. Annoyingly Tilda Swinton and Rene Russo got bigger parts in this than Michelle. Even Michael got a speaking part.

Somehow even Paul Rudd Ant-man himself is new to this team, so everyone from his storyline is relatively less important compare with the rest.

Can you watch this film as a stand alone movie or is it necessary to have seen all the other marvels?

At this rate, if they're really planning on paying off that Comic-Con hype video and all the mystery surrounding Janet, with Ant-Man 3 (if that movie even happens) it BETTER be good. I love all of Marvel, but even I know how much smaller, pun intended, the Ant-Man sub-franchise is in scale and popularity. There better something MAJOR in store with Janet, if Endgame really brought in the plot device that she lived in for 30 years, of the movie wedged smack right in between it and Infinity War, but not her! The simpler stories of the first two were nice enough, but I'm talking huge world-implicating stakes here, the type that will justify her missing out on a perfectly doable role in the biggest damn movie yet. If that's even possible...

If that's even possible... Maybe instead of doing another Ant-Man film they'll just make it a TV series for the new Disney streaming service? I know Michael Douglas said he'd want to do it, but I'm just not sure Pfeiffer would.
