You can get as creative with this as you want. You can go from just naming a franchise you might want her in, to a full-on character arc complete with co-stars and key scenes. Maybe I could come up with my own, once I've seen a few responses.

Gosh Mich has played so many different roles already but I always pictured her playing a tough cop in a drama or thriller but of course now Nicole has a role like that this year haha Ill have to really think about it more cuz theres so many possibilities

I’m actually writing a dream role for Michelle right now. I don’t wanna say too much about it cuz it’s still very early stages but it’s a historical drama dealing with the social change in 70s America. Requires a lot of research and help from historical consultants. But without giving too much away, the part I’m writing has her playing a slightly controversial figure in some ppls eyes.
I know it doesn’t sound like the most thrilling or commercial project, but it’s an idea I’ve had in my head for some time that I just have to get out, even if it never leads anywhere haha. Gonna show it to some filmmaker friends once I’m done with it to get some feedback.

A dramatic story where Michelle plays a lesbian I know she was attached to one movie that did not get made where she woulda played a lesbian after being married to a man so it was a really big shame that did not happen as it would be interesting to see family dynamics in a situation like that

Yup, a biopic lol And the person she'd be portraying is still living so I'm hesitant to contact her until after I finish the script lol

Where r all of u??? nobody has any ideas or is everyone waiting for news? haha
U guys remember how Debbie Harry said she always thought Mich would play her in a movie well now we think Mich is to old but with the de-aging stuff they do do u think she could?? like they de-age her for flashbacks or do u think that people would say thats too fake and it hurts her performance?? would love to see that happen she would make a awesome rock star
Also always wanted Mich to play a person who goes crazy or has mental issues like Cate in Blue Jasmine she would be perfect for a character like that like say she plays a woman who loses everything and goes downhill......but see this is why its so hard cuz all these other actresses have already played roles like these and no wonder Hollywood makes so many sequels and reboots its hard to come up with original things haha

I know I’m being vague but I REALLY want her to star in a movie with Angela Basset!! I wouldn’t care that it’d probably be lower profile. For me, Basset is the African American Michelle and seeing the two share a film together would be mind blowing IMO

I'd write a complex character for her to play in a contemporary setting. The genre would be either a gritty mystery / crime thriller or a socio-political drama set in the Me Too / Time's Up era.
In the crime thriller, I'd want her to play a compromised and flawed key witness to a crime. In the social / political drama, I'd want her to play a ballsy feminist executive in the entertainment field who becomes a passionate advocate for change. A seasoned pro who experienced something similar to what Linda Bloodsworth-Thomas wrote about working for Leslie Moonves.
In both examples, I'd prefer a limited series over a feature film.

Besides, I think Moore is playing her in a movie next year.

1. I would write her a story about alcoholism. More of portrait of a adult screw up. A regular everyday women, a loner (no real social skills), working a regular 9-5 schedule, giving all herself to some big named corporation just to get by check to check. After being passed over for an promotion for the tenth time; she decides to get completely wasted to escape her emotions but the pain doesn't go away. She slowly realizes she's not all that happy with her life and starts making drinking after work a new hobby. AND START TO DELVE DEEPLY INTO ISSUES OF SELF-EPWORTH AND DENIAL. Shes not close to her family, has no real friends and is in need of attention. Its eating her alive, that shes mid-sixties and hasn't been anywhere or done anything extraordinary with her life. No husband, no children she's just a old common hag. The hobby becomes her life, drinking all The Time To Cope With Her Issues. She's now coming to work tipsy and now has liquid courage and is finally speaking up for herself, showing signs of leadership because shes tired of being a people pleaser and her bosses are taking notices of this change. The day they do offer the promotion is the day she shows up drunk as hell and this will be a very dramatic day(loaded with oscar moments) which leads to a bittersweet ending.

I like your idea of Pfeiffer struggling with addiction and being a loner, that sounds right in her wheelhouse.

I wonder if there would be a way to acknowledge her physical beauty and that not being enough to spare her from addiction. Or enough for her to form a meaningful productive life without relying on alcohol. I remember being pissed when critics complained that she was miscast in Frankie & Johnny because she was too beautiful. I always felt that was rubbish. Good looks don't spare anyone from abusive romantic relationships. Anyway, I think this idea is a good one.

I remember Michelle saying that her dream role would be playing Georgia O'Keefe so if like to see that happen.
I think my dream role for her was and would be Susie Diamond. She mentioned once that she was encouraging Steve Kloves to write a sequel and I'd like that to happen.

I believe that O'Keeffe film that Allen starred in was television and a completely different project, but I'm not 100% sure.

I like the ideas referring to her playing a lesbian character, always thought about that one as well. A few from me, just thoughts - in no particular order:
A survivor: A woman stranded all alone on a deserted location following a major accident or even a global pandemic (...!) whereby all her peers tragically died. She is the sole survivor having to fend off for herself and find her way back to where it is that she used to call home. Will she? However she may find a companion along the way, or not, with room for twists in the story. She may also have someone to look after in the beginning hence not entirely alone, and then loose this person for good. Thinking aloud, folks! lol. Anyway, most likely a bittersweet end. Full picture movie or a mini streaming TV series.
A late bloomer: After decades of an apparent happy marriage with kids, a woman is questioning herself, the feelings that she hid all her life and starts acting upon them, realizing upon a business encounter with a new acquaintance that she may not be straight. Full development of encounters in the story until the split up and happy ending. Full picture movie - as if something like this with a happy ending would ever be made into a movie LOL - or a streaming TV series, The L Word better made.
A gifted artist: A white collar worker stuck on her rat race corporate job for decades is actually a gifted artist (painter, illustrator), who has never had the doors open to her to make a living out of her artistic talent. She had to resort to a completely different profession in order to earn her daily caviar providing for herself then her own family. Flashbacks of her rejection times, her frustrations, and current difficulties juggling a job she detests and family commitments. Although late in her life, she is beginning to pursue her artistic calling, and may finally get the break she needed to fulfil her passion. Happy ending? Possibly. Full picture movie or streaming TV series.

I think Robin Wright also plays a role like that in her upcoming directorial debut. I think Pfeiffer would be perfect in that setting.

I'm glad this thread got revived 'cause I finally came up with something! I've been reading a lot about geopolitics lately, so my idea is for a story chronicling two women's political careers as they ran parallel with then later intersected with one another, most notably when they served as the Secretaries of State and Defense together, up until they became their respective parties' nominees for President. Michelle can play the worldly and enterprising progressive against the other's tough-as-nails and indomitable military woman. Ideally, this can fit in a whole bunch of topics ranging from foreign policy, the ever fickle political atmosphere, hard truths in governing and leadership, work-life balance, and the wide spectrum of hardships in being a female public figure. Considering how stranger than fiction American politics seems nowadays, I'm probably gonna put this in its own world a la West Wing, or at the very least in the alternative universe where Hillary won...

Some great, very creative ideas in these recent posts. I love them.
Anytime she's given a complex, flawed, conflicted character Michelle soars because I think she embraces imperfection. She doesn't seem afraid of not being adored or loved on screen either. She's not hung up on image or cultivating a fan base.
