Hello, Michelle Pfeiffer and husband David E. Kelley are teaming up on Chasing Montana, a drama written by Kelley set up at Focus Features in which Pfeiffer would topline. Danish helmer Susanne Bier (Open Hearts will direct in the fall. The film was written specifically for his wife Pfeiffer, and follows a father and his daughter (Pfeiffer) - both doctors - whose bucolic Montana vacation becomes a poignant and at times amusing voyage of self discovery. Pfeiffer is also currently attached to star in She's Gone for Disney-based production company Beacon. That script is a sophisticated romantic comedy about a couple who have been married since they were high school sweethearts - and what happens when the husband's ingenious plan to ditch his wife goes awry. thanks more details: Pharmaceutical ads

God, I came on this thread thinking this film was happening again. You're about 13 years too late.

This was a great project, but it's dead for such a long time ago !!! I could have seen Clint Eastwood or Gene Hackman in the father's role. Or Paul Newman, he would have been perfect as Michelle's father ! Any other ideas guys ?

I remember someone actually made a fan poster after this project was first announced and they put Paul Newman on it with Pfeiffer, it actually looked pretty nice. Didn't Pfeiffer want Newman for A Thousand Acres? That would have been great, too.

One of my guilty pleasures is Lake Placid. I love that film and Betty White steals the show.
