If WOL had been a theatrical release, and let's face it, it could almost pass as one, do you think Michelle would have had a better chance at the Oscar?

I reluctantly voted No (the second option). The script was just not good enough and it was fairly boring. I liked it the first time I watched, but after repeated viewings, it doesn't hold up that well. That said, I think De Niro and Pfeiffer still would have been in the conversation, though, because they play real people and they are quite good.

WOL is a good film but it isn't at the level of HBO's best docu-dramas let alone Oscar nominated films based on real life events.

Her part wouldn't have been juicy enough to propel her to an Oscar Nom... plus, while the story is interesting, I don't think it would be as engaging for the voters as something like 'I, Tonya' or 'Still Alice' from a few years back.
