I'm all for Michelle winning on Sunday and seeing her on the stage again 28 years since her last win. I don't think Michelle will win though.

Yep, I want photos of Pfeiffer with everyone, Lol. She has worked with so many of the other nominees, too. Michelle Williams, Elisabeth Moss, Lange, etc. and she is friends with Tom Hanks, Spielberg. I'm hoping she's not in a shy mood and gets up and goes to different tables.

I'm sure David will be there. I really hope we get lots of photos of her mingling with other celebs. Maybe even get some photos of her with some of The Avengers cast she's hopefully been working with.

Hello and good year ¡ Feinberg says that Michelle will win Golden Globe ¡ He shows little love fpr Michelle but predicts her win
SHOULD WIN: Ann Dowd (The Handmaid's Tale)
These supporting catch-all categories are brutal and unfair, but hey, so was Dowd in yet another notable role for her.
WILL WIN: Michelle Pfeiffer (The Wizard of Lies)
The TV Academy honored Handmaid's star Ann Dowd, but the HFPA rarely goes for character actors, which is bad for This Is Us' Chrissy Metz, too. I expect Big Little Lies' Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley to cancel out each other, paving the way for a victory by veteran A-lister Pfeiffer, who played Ruth Madoff.

I'll just be happy w that moment when her name is announced when the presenter is reading off the nominees, the shot of her shyly smiling n ppl applauding...just for her to be in that kinda situation again is a real treat for a fan

I fully expect Dern to win, but it would be a nice surprise.

Since it's been what - twenty eight years since she won a GG and gave an acceptance speech - I am more than ready for her to win tonight.
But I don't think she will - Dern will take the prize IMO.

I'm kind of disappointed Pfeiffer didn't go to any of the pre-Golden Globes parties. She didn't even go to The Post screening in LA the other night, I thought for sure she'd be there since she's friends with Spielberg and she went to the Lincoln screening a few years ago. Oh well.

I'm expecting a Dowd or Dern win but really hoping for a Pfeiffer upset. Would be so good to see her on stage again as a winner after 28 years.

If there is one reason I won't be disappointed for Michelle not winning, its cuz she isn't the best at giving awards speeches...she seems too taken and surprised by the moment, that she gets lost when she's on stage lol

Here is a very reliable link to the Dubai live stream for the Golden Globes if any of you don’t get NBC or a channel that carries it where you live. It works great. The show starts at 5 pm pacific time. www.dmi.ae/dubaione/live.asp

Loving her look...n all the positive responses to her on the red carpet...but does anyone have the video of Seacrest interviewing her n David??

I didn't see the interview, but it looked like Pfeiffer had no interest in talking, Lol. I like the dress. I imagine it's hard to find unique black dresses when all the other actresses want black too.

It was still a great year, though :-) The best is yet to come. And I loved how Nicole Kidman was looking at her when they called her name.

There's still the Critics Choice Awards to look forward to on Thursday. I can't believe that in a room full of her friends and co-stars, we have yet to get any pictures of Pfeiffer with any of them. Hopefully we will get some soon.

At the end of her part, where she looks to her left and smiles, I wonder if she's looking at David or Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw or Meryl Streep. Not that it matters, I'm just a nerd for stuff like this, Lol.

Well, I may eventually forgive the HFPA for going with Laura Dern because they cut to a beaming Michelle when David accepted on behalf of the Big Little Lies team. I loved those brief moments and I laughed out loud when Nicole Kidman cheered when Michelle’s named was called. But I still think her performance was better and the role more difficult than Dern’s, who was shrill and one note IMO.
For pure beauty, class and as an example of how to age gracefully, no one can touch Lapfeiffer.
