Is it possible that {SPOILER! CLICK ME IF YOU DARE!}Pfeiffer is playing two different characters? Just watching the trailer again, coupled with the new TV spot, when she first arrives she is mostly all pleasant, her hair is down, etc. Then later we see her arriving again, in all black, hair up, fierce, angry look on her face when she turns around, then a seemingly evil laugh in another shot. Why would she be arriving a second time? Maybe Lawrence's character imagines/dreams of her as two different people? Just a thought. It's going to be fascinating to see what this story is really about. Never thought bout that. I just figured that as the story intensified, her character's demeanor changed You're probably right, Lol. I just thought some things seem strange in the trailers so far and with all the secrecy, I expect a lot of craziness.

I was just noticing something: Michelle turns her head to the left when she asks Jennifer why she doesn't want kids. I remember hearing a psychologist say that when someone is having a conversation with someone else, and a person's head is titled to the right, that means they are being attentive in the conversation. When the head is titled to the left, it means that there are some ulterior motives at hand and that the person wants the other person to like them/trust them on a deeper level. Just an observation/theory

Wow, "IT" is now tracking to make $60+ million in its first weekend, the weekend before "mother!" opens. Hoping "mother!" has great reviews and word of mouth out of the festivals to help it out.

I think 'IT' and 'mother!' actually target different markets, 'IT' should be almost for everyone when 'mother!' should going for more mature audiences, I'm looking forward to 'IT' too as it should be really entertaining, and I expect some great performances and good storyline from 'mother!'.

That's basically a total ripoff of the Rosemary's Baby poster. I like it though

Kristen Wiig must have a really showy, shocking role in this, they are not even acknowledging that she is in this, no stills of her, not in the trailer or teasers. She's a popular, well known star. She must be part of the big shock/surprise twist.

I like Pfeiffer's voice in that new line delivery. She looks great with her hair up and in black, too!

When she says "thank you for your hospitality" it sounded nothing like her. So different. Whoa

Crazy to think we'll be getting reviews for this in a couple of weeks. Really hope Michelle will be in Venice.

New York Premiere on 13th September premiere in Uk is the 6 of Sep and they say Jen and Darren will be only ones there and Darren says in new article it was Jen and javier who rehearsed for 3 months not Michelle or Ed Harris. meaning Michelle is not in the big scenes with Jen in the basement or the movies finale?

I think I saw the tweet about the London premiere. It did say Lawrence and Aronofsky will be there, but it didn't say they will be the only ones from the film, so we'll see. That's a day after the Venice premiere, I think.
I will be pretty sad if she cannot go to any of these premieres. I want to see her with Lawrence and Bardem on the red carpet giving interviews.

She only really skips premieres if she can't get away cuz of work. I guess it will all depend on what days she'll be needed for Ant-Man

Toronto unveiled the official guest list for the festival with all of the confirmed celebrities who will be attending. Pfeiffer is not on it. Lawrence, Bardem, Harris and Wiig are. I'm guessing this means Pfeiffer won't be at NYC premiere or Venice either. A real bummer.

I wonder what this means for junket interviews...ugh, why couldn't they film this in Canada like every other production?! LOL

I wonder what this means for junket interviews...ugh, why couldn't they film this in Canada like every other production?! LOL I completely get her not being able to go to Venice, that's far, but it is only a two-hour flight from Atlanta to Toronto, only a two-hour flight from Atlanta to New York. That's extremely doable. A small, delusional part of me thinks maybe someone at the festival messed up and left her name off by mistake, Lol, or maybe she just has not confirmed yet. But I know better. Oh, well. Here is the TIFF guest list, I forgot to include the link earlier: www.tiff.net/the-review/guess-whos-coming-to-tiff-17/

She has a history of always being ready and willing to participate in press duties, no matter what the movie...I mean c'mon, she attended BOTH New Year's Eve premieres LOL...I firmly believe she would go if she could.

Oh, for sure. But I'm just saying it's a short flight, she'd only have to be there a few hours at each event, why wouldn't they just let her go? We'll see. Judy Greer is going to Toronto, she's in Ant-Man, although probably a very tiny role and Paul Rudd had a film announced for Toronto, I'm sure they were going to let him go since he is the main star and Toronto does not accept your film unless the main star can attend.
