Avengers 4 is meant to be 3 hours long.

I saw that. I think it’s the rough cut. But it just may end up being that long when it hits theaters ha ha
Depends on how much of the characters they wanna give time to

"There was another sequence we shot, actually, where Hank got injured, and she actually fought off some Quantum creatures." Reed continued. "We saw her use the sword and stuff like that, and then also had that scene where she plays a sort of peacemaker. So you got to see Janet, the warrior, Janet the diplomat, and then Janet, the wife of Hank Pym."
As Reed revealed, those scenes ultimately weren't included in the finished cut of Ant-Man and the Wasp, so as to not distract from the final battle happening at the same time in the movie.
"But it really sort of, it was all about balance and cross-cutting between that ending." Reed explained. "There were some cool scenes on their own, but they really sort of — they didn’t solve the questions the audience had. They just sort of produced more questions.”
And why they didn't put it in the Blu-ray even so....... 'Ant-Man and The Wasp' Director Explains Why Certain Quantum Realm Scenes Were Cutcomicbook.com/marvel/2019/01/15/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantum-realm-scenes-deleted-peyton-reed/

Geez, 4 years later?!

Well technically 3 since Ant-Man's recurring plot device and 4 of its characters are in Endgame. Even if 3 of said characters have like 3 minutes, 30 seconds, 3 seconds respectively? Haha!

I think I would be ok with it... after French Exit, Turn of Mind and a juicy role in Scorsese/DiCaprio’s Killers of the flower moon !

Marvel announced their Phase 4 lineup at ComicCon today and nothing about Ant-Man 3 (or Black Panther 2, which was more surprising to me).

Yea, I saw that as well. Oh well. It would've been fun given the right script and attention to character. C'est la vie!

We all knew they would never give Janet Van Dyne any proper attention (or meaningful character development). She was nothing more than a plot point/MacGuffin in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'.
With Peyton Reed supposedly gunning for 'Fantastic Four', it just doesn't look great for Ant-Man 3. Paul Rudd will no doubt just pop up in other Marvel movies. Oh well...

Well this tweet means it could be in Phase 5 with these other sequels instead?

Knowing how Marvel operates, they'll probably hire Sean Mendes and Dakota Fanning to play the younger Hank / Janet characters in FF.

I think I'm done with Michelle for MCU, and I'm happy to let Endgame as her last MCU movie, no matter what her character as Janet will only be a repeat and predictable part even they do give her more screen time, I would prefer her to save the time on new role/movies.

Could be fun if it was a well written substantial role but if it's going to be another 5-10 mins worth of screen time then I hope she doesn't bother.

I'm curious as to what kind of contract she signed with Marvel. She might have signed on for a few projects/appearances and it might be hard for her to just back out?

Marvel announced the voice cast for the animated series What If...? and they listed Rudd and Douglas as reprising their Ant-Man roles, but not Evangeline Lilly or Pfeiffer. Thought that was odd.

If it's true, then yeah, whatever. I just hope it wouldn't cause her to turn down other, more worthy projects because she's tied up with this.

I've never heard of that podcast. How reliable are they?
I have mixed feelings about this as I don't think Ant-Man 3 would kill it at the box office and Marvel will no doubt bring in another character to push revenue meaning less screen time for Michelle.
I'd be curious to see what her contract is like (they always do multiple films) and if they can truly sustain her interest. This always felt like an agent thing that was pushed on her.

I hadn't heard of the podcast either, but a lot of Marvel "experts" and Comic-Con people have seen their tweet and run with it, so maybe they are really dialed in.

Marvel has already blown two great opportunities with Michelle. I'd much rather she found substantial roles in other films than return for a third AntMan and end up with nothing but a 5 minute cameo. They are ridiculous.

Someone on Twitter pointed out that Variety said Douglas and Lily are confirmed to return, but nothing about Pfeiffer.
