It doesn't seem actually as bad as I thought. Seems mostly mixed reviews. {SPOILER! CLICK ME IF YOU DARE!} I heard Ryan's character gets killed off pretty early on which is a shame.

Yea, he's got a new show every 5 minutes and a good track record overall. He'll be fine.

Oh, it's bad but it's cheesy and B-movie enough to make me tune in next week. God help me. Pandemic blues wins.....
It was fun to see Valerie Mahaffey as the the crazy mother. I bet Michelle suggested her after working with her on FE.
Ryan Phillippe sleep walks through his part. He must not care whether he works again or not.
Based solely on the first episode, it's like watching a retread of an Ashely Judd, women-in-peril B movie thriller. You hate yourself for watching but you can't look away either.

David's new show Big Sky isn't getting great reviews. I don't feel too badly for him, lol. Poor Ryan Phillippe, though. Weirdly, isn't DeDee supposed to be on this show? I have not seen her in the trailer or any of the promos. Must be a tiny role. DeDee plays the wacky, outspoken receptionist at the detectives' office. She is strictly there for comic relief.

The Undoing is doing well and has increased it's ratings every episode. I hope he does a good job with Nine Perfect Strangers and Anatomy of a Scandal.

Not that she was ever a leading lady star or anything, just figured she might have a bigger role since she's related to the creator.

I hate to bring up something negative, but this guy is clearly talking about working with her on Kyra. And it’s not hard to picture her being in a bad mood on that set lol. Dosunmu said it was hard for her. Walking a lot. Late nights. Etc. I think someone here also posted she was a diva on Cheri.

I don't know, I mean I'm not inclined to believe ppl when they talk about stuff like this. This kinda talk is too easy to throw out there. It's also far too easy for gullible folks to believe it. If it's true, well...anyone can disappoint you if you catch them at the right time, for reasons that aren't always gonna be clear. I do take comfort in the fact that far more ppl, fans and colleagues have said how nice she is to interact with and be around.

It's obvious that Where is Kyra is not one of Michelle's finest filming experiences. Michelle doesn't seem like a diva at all. We don't know know what went on behind the scenes and probably never will.

Well, I’m not saying he didn’t have a bad experience with her at some point but his name does not appear anywhere in the Kyra credits on IMDB. He’s had a rather spotty career with a few acting and writing credits in minor productions. I’d take this with a grain of salt.

I know quite a few people who work around the stars (film/tv production, fashion etc) and I think that they love to have opinions on the interesting people that they are around. I don't really know what they expect of them tbh. Michelle is clearly a shy, reserved person who isn't going to go out of her way to be friendly with everyone but I'm sure she isn't anything but courteous.
Having said that a production assistant on 'Cheri' told me she seemed to think she was on a high budget film when she wasn't and that was difficult. He didn't really say anything more than that and I don't believe he had anything directly to do with her.
On the other hand, I remember Cameron Diaz saying that what she learned from Julia Roberts is that the star sets on the tone on set. If that's true then I can kind of see Michelle's ambivalence not being well received.

I mean honestly at this point I just assume every celebrity is a bit of a diva at least. How can they not be lol. I try not to put any of them, including Michelle, on a pedestal. We really have no clue how they really are. Take Ellen for example. Seems nice, does a lot of nice things for people on her show, but by all accounts is a monster in real life lol

I guess...I dunno. I get the whole shy thing cuz I'm actually really shy IRL. You can hear it in my voice every time I'm called on to do a podcast lol but I've had ppl tell me after they've gotten to know me that I can come across as stuck up or snobbish at first cuz I am fairly guarded and awkward. I think those traits are only magnified if you're in the public eye, which thankfully I'm not. I'd die! So, yea, I'm not surprised whenever I hear some of these things in a way...
As for Ellen, well...I dunno, I ain't touching that one ha ha

So David's TV project The Lincoln Lawyer, which I think was supposed to be on CBS, is now heading to Netflix. I wonder if Michelle will work with them too soon. I hope so.

David has so many shows on the go. He is also meant to be working on an adaptation of The Institute by Stephen King and looks like there could be role for Michelle as Mrs Sigsby the institute director. I just think Michelle and David don't want to work together.

Another song inspired in her. “Michelle Pfeiffer” by Ethel Cain. youtu.be/geclsIbWqoAI’m sorry I can’t make it clickable I kinda like it lol It’s a cool song! About the song: "This song was just a breath of fresh air from a fresh start,” Ethel explains. “It was my first time ever in LA, in a studio for the first time ever with Aaron, and it felt like I was finally being seen for the artist I'd been trying to be for years. I've always idolized Michelle Pfeiffer and thought she was a picture perfect bombshell so when I was in the back of my Uber with the windows down, headed to the studio bright and early that first morning and humming a little chorus melody to myself, I felt like a bombshell of my own. It felt like my life had finally started." Our girl is a legend and an icon (even if there are idiots who have never seen any of her movies)
